Oh, Captain, My Captain
Dedicated E-mail: Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink

You’ve always wanted to be captain: of the cheerleading squad (your herkie wasn’t good enough), the lacrosse team (you couldn’t cradle), or even a boat (you get seasick).
You finally get the chance, thanks to Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Passionately Pink for the Cure™ program.
Here’s how it works: Rally a team of coworkers, friends, family, whoever. Choose a day (or days) during the month of October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month) to promote awareness and raise money. As captain, it is your responsibility to register your team. You will then
receive a participation kit that includes posters, pamphlets, and pins.
On your day, the team will get all decked out in pink, and each person will make a minimum $5 donation as well as inform and encourage others to
get involved in the fight against breast cancer. Here’s where you can live out the captain dream: Come up with a fun song or skit for the group to perform, make pink cupcakes, or dye your locks pink, all to make fighting breast cancer fun.
Go to passionatelypink.org to sign up. Then get those creative juices flowing.
Ready? Okay!
