But often the best way to put a good face on things is by dressing the rest of yourself well. So check out Sweetface, a new clothing line whose aptly named designs will get you plenty of attention.

The fall collection’s inspiration comes from the femme fatale icons of the ’40s, so look for high-waisted skirts, belted jackets, and draped silk dresses.

A one-shoulder top with ruching and a bottom band is reminiscent of candy. Pair the cropped jacket with a cowl neck over the cashmere sweater minidress for a winning look. Put it all out there without looking slutty in the brown Bondage dress, with crisscross banding at the waist.
