There are many ways to stand out from the crowd. You could have food on your face, a bat in the cave, or an unsightly smear on your shirt.
Or you could wear Aoyama Itchome.
The line designed by Japan native Hogo Natsuwa will give people more than enough to look at.
The gray, knee-length dress with tiny lavender dots throughout and contrasting fabric inlays is a standout. (There’s a lot going on, but it looks marvelous.) If you can’t commit to that one, try the matching wrap-around kimono top or the parachute dress in gray with blue sunburst pattern that flatters both curvy and string-bean bodies.
Pull these pieces out when you want to make a real entrance.
Or when you want to distract people from the salad in your teeth.
