Fall 2007 Wedding Guide

The perfect place to tie the knot? One of these seven wonders of the world. 

Destination: Santorini, Greece
Pros: Have a big, fat Greek wedding at Katikies, a little gem in the cliffs near a volcanic crater, with unlimited amounts of ouzo and hummus, magical views, and impeccable service.
Cons: You may want to go Greek permanently.

Destination: City of your choice, Japan
Pros: Private tea ceremony, Zen temple candlelight party, and dancing geishas are all in the realm of possibility with the help of RPI Concierge.
Cons: You could start turning Japanese (we really think so). 

Destination: Santa Catalina, Argentina
Pros: With gorgeous gauchos, polo matches, and delicious meats roasted whole on a stick, El Colibrí guarantees a truly authentic experience (oh, and the dollar goes far there).
Cons: Your vegetarian friends could possibly starve.

Cons: By witnesses, we mean total strangers.

Destination: Big Sur, California
Pros: Nude Japanese hot baths, couples’ color readings, and Ventana Inn’s all-inclusive coastline wedding packages for up to 35 people shockingly won’t break the bank.
Cons: Weather as unpredictable as Uncle Hal.

Destination: Bali, Indonesia
Pros: Meditation, yoga, volcano hiking, and rooms for $185 make Uma Ubud a relaxing place from which to start a drama-free life together.
Cons: Even frequent fliers might freak. (Just remind them of the miles.)
