The kooky, London-based designers have no formal fashion education, but you’d never know it from their second fall collection.
Forget rock star androgyny: The line is sophisticated, surprisingly conservative, feminine, and pretty. Unusual fabrics, delicate prints, and structured cuts make for a quirky yet romantic look. Flattering shapes mean that the clothes are totally wearable.
Your soon-to-be favorites: the floor-length dress with drop waist and scalloped sleeves (a modern take on a Titanic gown), the antifrump silk mini tunic, and the striking ruffle bib dress in wool jersey.
None of which are appropriate when trashing fancy hotel rooms.
