Camp. The word conjures either memories of endless rounds of “Kumbaya” or the vision of a six-foot-tall man in a Bob Mackie gown.
It’ll have a new meaning when you meet Camp Bosworth, local artist and craftsman.
Bosworth’s folk-inspired paintings are narrative based and filled with Southern humor (think backroads and exploring the tide pools of culture). And that’s not his only forte. His furniture and wood carvings are exceptional. Bosworth custom makes anything, from mesquite cheese boards and spoons to beyond gorgeous tables, benches, and center-pivot doors.
Only hitch: He lives in Marfa, so if you’re interested in commissioning something, schedule a meeting during one of his next road trips to Dallas.
Beats camping outside his door.
