The Gossip

Hey, stylish sirens. Candy Girl here. And I have some big news for spring.

One of my many sources sends me this: Spotted at online boutiques Gargyle and Buy Definition, a line of dresses, blouses, scarves, pencil skirts, jumpsuits, and cigarette pants in vivacious colors and quirky prints inspired by the sun.

Who is the talent behind such pretty feminine pieces? Ex-model Abigail Lorick, of course. Rumor has it you’ve already seen pieces from the collection on S and B at Eleanor Waldorf’s photo shoot.

Our favorite? The navy canvas coat/dress with puff sleeves and a dramatic sash — the perfect ladylike cover-up up for a super-short minidress Mom wouldn’t approve of (or would she?). Word on the street: The little deets (cinched waists, full skirts, ruffles) make every piece ’50s housewife chic.

How’d I hear about it? That’s one secret I’ll never tell.

Xoxo,
Candy Girl
