Going for Toque

Letting your kids hide their favorite action figures in the oven is a bad idea.

Instead, fire up their culinary skills with Give Me Some Sugar cooking classes. Chef and Kendall College pastry instructor Alekka Sweeney leads private group lessons in your home and teaches budding Batalis to read recipes, measure, and mix.

Make chocolate turtles, lollipops, and fondant-covered marshmallows in a candy class or whip up oatmeal pancakes, fruit parfaits, and scones in the breakfast session.

Sweeney provides all ingredients and equipment, and even takes care of the cleanup.

So you can leave stress on the back burner.
