Not to burst your Halloween bubble (yes, we saw you at the Garment District last night), but gift-giving season is right around the bend.
Stress not: You’ll find tricks galore at Design Hive, a new weekly indie designers’ market opening Saturday. The setup is genius: You support independent vendors (selling everything from contemporary and vintage clothing to accessories and housewares) while rocking out to live DJs, all in a stylish (and toasty) indoor space.
Discover new designers like Geraldine Purcell of Shabby Cloche and her vintage-inspired hats and bags or funky-functional pillows and place mats by Alys Myers. And since everything is handmade locally, it’s all one of a kind.
Go treat yourself.
And everyone else, of course.
Design Hive Market, every Saturday-December 20, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at Maria Baldwin School, 28 Sacramento Street, Cambridge (617-272-1267 or designhivemarket.com).
