Get a change of pace with Escape 2 Fitness’s Winter Walking Club. Led by peppy personal trainers, the program is designed for those who are looking to get out of the gym — and back into their jeans.
Sessions run for four weeks (two walks per week), with classes available before and after work. Escape sells starter kits (pedometer, resistance tube, hat); all you need is warm clothes and willpower.
You’ll walk and jog between two and two and a half miles and do interval strength training. For in-between maintenance, your fearless leader will provide weekly exercise programs, fitness tips, and individualized meal plans.
