Sibling Revelry

You and your sister have a time-honored rule: Take something from my closet, give me something in exchange. Or die.

My Sister’s Closet has launched a consignment program that operates on a similar principle — minus the threat of imminent bodily harm.

You can now take old clothes, accessories, and shoes to the retail store and exchange them for money or store credit. Just make an appointment to review your items, then leave the rest to the boutique. After 90 days, redeem your earnings.

Prefer to act now? Get that check as credit to buy new lines like Lewis Cho, Tulle, and Velvet at a discount.

Any items that don’t sell can be reclaimed or the boutique will gladly donate them to charity.

It’s a consign of the times.

Available at My Sister’s Closet, 111 Church Street, suite 203, Vienna (703-255-4760 or shopatmysisterscloset.com).
