At the dining table, he’s a little bit country; you’re a little bit rock ’n’ roll.
Let your taste buds tango at Lumi Empanada & Dumpling Kitchen.
Tucked inside a down-home cottage, the new Uptown eatery has an unexpectedly groovy atmosphere — sleek blonde furniture, glam drum shade lights, sassy Brazilian tunes.
The fusion menu has an odd but delicious lineup of Latin-inspired empanadas (chicken, shrimp and crab, beef and potato) and steamed or pan-fried Asian dumplings (pork and chives, duck and leek).
Other unusual finger foods — ahi tuna nachos, Chinese BBQ ribs, rack of lamb marinated in mint and cognac — also surprise. As do specialty drinks like the spicy pineapple and jalapeno margarita.
You’ll be singing its praises.
