It’s another twin caper.

This time, everyone’s tuned into the design adventures of identical sisters Ayaan and Idyl Mohallim, the duo behind clothing line Mataano. With flashbacks to early childhood in Somalia and high school in D.C., much of the present scenes take place during young adulthood in New York.

In episode one, the girls travel to a tropical island to relax in soft jersey, olive-colored dresses, adding allure with plunging V-neck silk details.

In part two, it’s back to the city as the duo takes to the streets in chic, retro-minded green, gold, and black silk jacquard shifts.

The season closes in nighttime romance as they go out on the town in gauzy pink empire-waist dresses.

This has all the makings of a hit.
