Field Trip

After a farting incident, you were exiled from your carpool (apparently, closed windows mean no).

Now, you’re in dire need of a nifty ride.

Jump on the City Provisions bus with founder Cleetus Friedman, a guest brewmaster, and 45 fellow foodies and head to a farm (Rushing Waters in Wisconsin, Faith’s in Illinois) for an unforgettable five-course dining experience.

Start your engines with a sip, a taste (garlic scape, pesto crostini), and a beer pairing and brewing lesson. Don’t get sauced — you’ve got a farmer-led tour and explanation of where your food comes from ahead of you.

Previous guests have enjoyed tortilla-crusted hanger steaks (black bean and cactus quinoa), pork chops (grain mustard potato gratin), and sarsaparilla stout floats (organic vanilla ice cream), each paired or prepared with the guest brewer’s beer.

There’s a bonfire, too.

It’ll be a gas.
