You started a letter writing campaign to free Willy and marched alone in your living room to help Donna Martin graduate.

So you won’t let the singing fountain slip away without a fight.

The now defunct Citizens’ Alliance built the fountain five years ago and hooked it up with a sound system in an abandoned lot that once housed a cheesesteak shop. Then glorious, today it has busted lights, missing speakers, and cherubs that no longer spurt water.

Gather tonight at Passyunk and Tasker to help raise money to preserve the quirky institution. There will be eats from area restaurants (Paradiso, Izumi, Le Virtù), drinks, and hot boys (we’re guessing). Laura Burkhardt (air kisses galore) will also make a guest appearance.

Just your kind of live aid.
