Balls in your mouth is not what you would usually describe as a “happy” situation (more like a hairy one).

Unless, that is, you’re talking about Happy Balls, the chocolate-covered bourbon candies handmade by Ron Harris and Jane Badgers that’ll leave you grinning uncontrollably.

Operating out of their Louisville, Kentucky home, the couple uses an an old family recipe from Harris’s Aunt Happy, a God-fearing Southerner who used to hightail it to the drive-through liquor store when shopping for ingredients.

What Happy invented, which you can now gleefully buy online, consists of a buttercream made from the finest Knob Creek bourbon, dipped in chocolate, and topped with a bourbon-soaked pecan.

Or what we’d call delicious nuts.
