Somewhere deep inside your brain …
Tony Neuroni: Ever since Jersey Shore started, it’s been really slow around here. I don’t think there’s been a thought in months.
Trish Neuronstein: I’m so bored that I’m doing my nails.
Tony: What?! No wonder I’m feeling light-headed.
Teresa Neuronski: Chill out, axons, we just signed up for Brooklyn Brainery’s first semester. The collaborative workshops led by Jonathan Soma and Jen Messier will have us pondering everything from meat to lasers.
Tony: Aren’t we still paying off that How to Get in Touch with Your Inner Ganglia class?
Teresa: Yeah, but Soma and Messier have tried out nearly every local class — from welding to surfing to the history of embalming — and wanted something different, so they’re offering a no-pain rate of four classes for only $25.
Trish: Maybe there’ll be some cute ions there, too.
Tony: Oh, synapse!
Classes start (and registration ends) Monday. Brooklyn Brainery meets at The Gowanus Studio Space, 166 7th Street, between Second and Third Avenues, Gowanus (347-948-5753). For class times and dates, go to brooklynbrainery.com.
