Shakespeare warned, “Neither a borrower nor a lender be”.
If it weren’t for his penchant for cross-dressing, we’d say he knew nothing about fashion.
Because new collection Hamilton-Paris makes a strong case for the swap. When YSL-trained Parisian designer Charles Sebline met irresistible London girl Sophie Hamilton, he was so inspired by her offbeat style that he created a line of clothing that takes the best from both cultures.
A soliloquy of sorts, the line is based around the blouse — Parisian bourgeoisie tempered with kooky London details. That means a luxurious crepe de Chine shirt dashed with zebra-print pussy-bow ties and slinky bolero jackets finished with roughly textured raffia.
Just as you like it.
