Figs Men's Ties: Neckwear That Gives Back

Buy a Tie, Give an African Child an Education

figs: threads for threads!

We know it’s your day. But what if you could make it about other people, too?

Outfit the groom and his men in Figs ties (or bow ties, if that’s your style), and you’ll be helping a child in Africa go to school.

While vacationing in Kenya, Heather Hasson discovered that kids were being deprived of an education because they couldn’t afford the required uniforms. So she came up with Figs: For each tie sold, a child gets a school uniform (sewn by local women).

The neckwear is made in Los Angeles out of Italian, Scottish, and English fabrics, while the tipping (a.k.a. lining) is made from men’s dress shirts.

New designs are created seasonally, but if nothing suits, Figs does custom work complete with a special message embroidered on the back. Because after all, it’s his day, too.

Available online at wearfigs.com, $105-$135.
