Your pajama selection overfloweth with pit-stained tees, holey boxers, and a wrinkled cami that emerges once a year.
Start afresh with a drawer full of Mulmul, a new, all-white line of loungewear that’s comfortable, pretty, and won’t empty your wallet.
New York-based designer Puja Chodha crafted everything in her debut collection from mulmul (hence the name), a semisheer muslin once exclusive to Indian royalty. Our favorite pieces include a pocketed kimono robe with front pleats, an A-line sleeping dress that ties at the shoulders, and feminine shorts with ruffles at the hem. Hand-sewn embellishments — beading, embroidery — show up throughout.
Many of the garments (especially the dresses) easily pass as street clothes. Just make sure to layer.
Available online at mulmulstore.com, $35-$165.
