What to Take to a Summer Music Festival

The Definitive Packing List

what to pack for summer music festivals!

Let’s not pretend anyone pulls off that effortlessly cool festival look without putting in a lot of effort. Here’s our checklist of essentials when packing for outdoor summer fun.

1. DuWop Bronzing Moisturiser (£27) can be used on your face and body and will disguise a pale, partied-out complexion, while cure-all balm Pommade Divine (£17) is a handy way to repair chapped lips, cracked skin, stings, scratches and bruises.

jimmy choo for hunter wellington boots!

2. Be prepared for anything (rain, paparazzi, bumping into Kate Moss) in a pair of bright yellow croc-print Jimmy Choo for Hunter Wellington boots (£255).

3. Remember fun moments (and delete bad ones) on a handheld high-def Flip camcorder (£130).

ebony and ivory panel scarf!

4. Keep the sun off your face with an Anthony Peto trilby (£110). Add an Ebony and Ivory panel scarf (£250) to brighten up your look (or double as a sarong or head scarf).

5. Charge the Pebble Portable Gadget Charger (£50) before you leave and you’ll have enough battery power to keep your iPhone, iPod, BlackBerry or mobile phone going all weekend.

portable cardboard toilet!

6. Portaloos, long drops and she-pees (yuck) should be avoided at all costs. Instead, pack The Shit Box (£16) portable cardboard toilet with a biodegradable poo bag. Trust us, it’s the more dignified option. (While we’re on the subject, loo roll is like gold dust; get yours from The Designer Toilet Roll Company and hope that no one steals it.)

7. And finally, don’t forget your sunglasses. We’ll be wearing our Alexander Wang for Linda Farrow (£153) shades, even if the sun doesn’t come out.
