If smell is the most powerful sense, we kind of hate to admit that our all-time favorite scent wafts from a food court chain known for gargantuan cinnamon rolls.
You’ll be hit with that same warm, intoxicating aroma upon entering Berkeley’s new Cinnaholic bakery, where the cinnamon rolls are so delightful you won’t know (or care) that they’re vegan.
Sweetened with evaporated cane sugar, the chewy buns can be slathered with one of 26 frosting flavors (ranging from fruit to butterscotch to root beer) and sprinkled with the likes of brownie chunks, walnuts, pomegranate seeds, and more.
And if you’re a frosting-aholic, you can order a five-pack of “shots” to down or spread onto the rolls yourself. Talk about intoxicating.
