Fenton-Fallon's Dana Lorenz

fenton-fallon designer dana lorenz fashion week!

Patron saint Joan Collins watches over Lorenz in the designer’s LES studio

Combine echoes of ’80s costume jewelry with a hint of something classic, and you’ve got jewelry designer Dana Lorenz’s signature aesthetic — one that works equally well in an avant-garde collaboration with Opening Ceremony or gracing a sweater set for Michelle Obama.

Since going from art school grad to almost-overnight designer (a one-off fashion show in 2006 immediately led to calls from Vogue and Barneys), the unabashed music geek has launched lines Fenton and Fallon and worked with everyone from Proenza Schouler to J.Crew to Thakoon. At Fashion Week, Lorenz will debut her first menswear collection and announce an upcoming partnership (we’re sworn to secrecy). Till then, we’re just hoping she’ll make us a mixtape.
