Broken New Year’s resolution No. 87: revive the lost art of (nondigital) correspondence.
It’s not too late to keep your promise. Dust off your fountain pen and check out Romeo + Jules, the adorable new stationery range from graphic designer Jennifer Grant.
Giving modern scrawlers a chance to show off their old-fashioned manners, Grant uses traditional letterpress to add texture to her luxurious cotton cards. (She also offers digital printing for those on a budget). Bright colours and clean fonts give Christmas, birthday and note cards a modern/vintage feel and add a touch of class to otherwise mundane moving notices, invites and labels.
She also offers a bespoke service and will design drink flags, place cards and, well, anything else note worthy.
