Gabe Orta at Miami Beach’s Bar Lab (professional consultants in the very serious world of mixology) has given Brazil’s national cocktail a floral infusion. The result is a drink that tastes as good as it smells — and the pain-free Brazilian you’ve been waiting for.
Spring Caipirinha
Serves one
Ingredients
1½ oz. Cabana Cachaca
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. hibiscus flower simple syrup
3 mint leaves
1 mint sprig
1. Combine all the ingredients in a shaker.
2. Fill shaker with ice and mix well.
3. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with mint sprig.
