It’s almost impossible for us to stand in the newborn aisle at Target and not offer our opinion to every woman with a waddle (sincere apologies to the brunette comparing baby washes last Tuesday).
So it’s no surprise we feel compelled to share our commentary on SPI Baby’s new nursery furniture. Launched by two L.A.-based interior designers, the vibrant collection of dressers, changers, rockers, ottomans, rugs, and accessories had us at hello.
Using colorful prints, punchy hues, and thoughtful design, the duo has cooked up pieces meant to transition from the nursery to any other space in your house. And we think (here’s where we can’t help ourselves) that’s the way to go when outfitting baby’s room.
Standouts include the Windward, a wing-back rocker that swivels 360 degrees while enveloping you in a cocoon, and the Happy hamper and changing table, a dresser-changer-hamper combo with removable laundry bags and covered in laminated fabric.
The collection is pricey, but everything is made by artisans who put durability and quality above all.
And, in our humble opinion, that matters.
Available online at spibaby.com, $15-$3,000.
