Re: New brunch spot, Ktchn 105
Breakfast aficionados, your mission — should you choose to accept it — is to uncover the location of the Sunday pop-up. Here’s what we can tell you:
- It’s the handiwork of chef Felix G. Barron IV (of catering company The IV Group). You’ll also find him teaching offbeat classes on extracts and infused oils at the space.
- Take a table inside the sparse downtown loft to watch Barron slice and dice in the studio kitchen or dine alfresco in the shady adjacent garden.
- The weekly changing menu puts inventive spins on classic brunch grub. Start light with heirloom tomatoes on peppery greens before going whole hog with a cornmeal waffle and pear BLT smothered in smoked gouda. Wash it down with a fresh mimosa.
As for that address, you didn’t hear it from us but, ahem, check the website. Now doesn’t that take the proverbial pancake?
