Located three hours north of Chicago, it’s more than a place to gawk at plumbing (the namesake kitchen and bath products are made there). Kohler bundles fine dining, spas, yoga, and outdoor sports into just a few blocks.
Nashville is a mixed bag. There are young musicians and creative types (Jack White, Karen Elson), stiff-collared country clubbers, and Grand Ole Opry die-hards. It beckons with quiet anonymity and Southern hospitality.
