The genius designers behind Suno, Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis, invited us to their Fashion District studio for their Opening Ceremony spring 2011 look book shoot. We can’t stop thinking about how much we want every single piece — especially the bathing suits, a first for the designers.
Osterweis shows us his inspiration board. Look closely, and you’ll see those swatches in action elsewhere in this gallery.

Besides mix-and-match bikini tops and bottoms, Suno also has two one-pieces.

If we could take this rack home with us, we would. As always, Suno’s kanga-inspired prints are envy inducing.
The pattern in this leather dress was cut with a laser. We like to think of it as fashion meets fine art.
Here’s a close-up of the dress. It’s as intricate as a snowflake.
Osterweis shows us one of his favorite kangas. We think it’s a classic.
