Chef Sam Josi (Slanted Door) whips up Mexican classics with a modern twist. Starters like ahi tuna tartar and chilaquiles (tortilla chips with chipotle cream, roasted chicken, fava leaves, and peppers) are delish, as are tamales and main dishes like pork confit with seven-layer fundido. Wash it all down with a pomegranate margarita.
