Hecho en Dumbo began as a Mexican concept restaurant run out of the Dumbo General Store three nights a week. The wildly successful experiment led to permanent digs in the former Marion’s Continental on the not-so-gritty-anymore stretch of Bowery. Focus is on fresh ingredients and style without the kitsch. Go for house-made salsas, tacos de cochinita pibil, and a neat Siembra Azul blanco tequila.
