Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Advertising revenue development for consumer packaged goods and health categories.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing advertisers and agencies through regular meetings and entertaining.
• Create advertising proposals, partnership programs, deliver to clients, and negotiate terms of program.
• Work with our Sales Marketing team on big ideas and solutions for clients.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and work closely with other departments including ad production team.
• Participate in industry associations and trade groups.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of three years interactive advertising sales experience.
• Consumer packaged goods/health online advertising experience preferred.
• Working knowledge and participation in interactive marketplace.

Marketing Internship, NYC

DailyCandy, the popular style and trends e-mail newsletter and website, is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This person will be a vital part of the Marketing team and gain extensive experience in consumer marketing.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Marketing Manager to develop creative elements for internal promotions.
• Maintain promotional calendar.
• Research and maintain list of blogs to target for select marketing programs.
• Promote marketing programs to blogosphere.
• Organize, process, and distribute materials for "As Seen In" program.
• Attend monthly marketing meetings.
• Aid in the development of program recap reports.
• Assist in any other marketing-related tasks, as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be organized, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Preference will be given to applicants who can work at least three days a week.
