Account Executive, Detroit
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Advertising revenue development for Michigan based accounts and solely represent DailyCandy in the Detroit advertising marketplace.
- Cultivate relationships with new and existing advertisers and agencies through regular meetings and entertaining.
- Create advertising proposals, partnership programs, deliver to clients, and negotiate terms of program.
- Work with our Sales Marketing team on big ideas and solutions for clients.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and work closely with other departments including ad production team.
- Participate in industry associations and trade groups.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of three years interactive advertising sales experience in Detroit marketplace.
- Working knowledge and participation in automotive industry.
- This position is home office based.

Front-end Developer
DailyCandy is seeking a front-end HTML developer.
We're looking for a well-rounded developer who enjoys working on diverse and challenging projects. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and capable of working closely with non-technical colleagues.
Candidates should have 2+ years experience using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to build template-driven websites in a professional environment. Candidates should understand good UI design and layout, be familiar with accessibility issues, and be up to date on the latest web trends.
The job will require working with graphic designers and programmers to develop new features and HTML templates for web and e-mail.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Strong UI and site architecture experience
- Photoshop & other design tools
- JSP, Freemarker or other web programming languages a plus
- JQuery or other Javascript libraries a plus
