A Little Bird Told Us

Little Stork Bags for Moms-to-Be

The three stages of pregnancy often go something like this:

Stage one: You look as though you’ve heartily enjoyed the most delicious pancake breakfast. Every day. (Sometimes you feel like you want to vomit those pancakes.)

Stage two: It’s obvious that there is, in fact, a bun in the oven. A somewhat large bun. (It kicks, it flips, and you’ve stopped wanting to vomit.)

Stage Three: Big. No two ways about it.

Wouldn’t it be nice if someone simplified things by dropping off a tidy bundle of joy on your doorstep?

We hate to break it to you: That ain’t gonna happen.

But if it’s any consolation, Little Stork can provide you with everything you need to make the last and final stage — your trip to the hospital (should you choose to give birth there) — as cushy as can be.

There are three packs, from necessity-filled to super-plush. Every bag holds basics (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush) plus little items that could be easily overlooked as you make a mad dash out the door (like lip balm, pops that help prevent nausea, makeup remover). Neat bundles for Mom are labeled for labor, the stay, and the newborn. There’s even a dopp kit for Dad.

All you’ll need then is a book and some background music to make childbirth virtually painless.

Well, that and an epidural.
