Well, at least you can make sure those steps are well protected and adorably shod. Camper, the Barcelona-based shoe company, has just unveiled their first line for children. And just as you’d expect from the fun and funky house, the designs are way beyond cute.

The collection veers from flexible, bright-colored sandals (like the tangerine and green-hued leather Ous) to whimsical polka-dot numbers that complement — but don’t match — one another (the red and orange Twins). The bright florals of the ergonomic Peu line are reminiscent of a Warhol work, while the casual-elegant shapes of the Brothers line are easy to dress up or down.

Designed for active little feet, each pair is created with safety in mind, and each evokes the charm of precious innocence.

Which means there may just be a little more innocence to go around.
