Teaching your little earthling about nature’s miracles can be a challenge.

Unless you have Little Pals. The range of colourful gardening gear allows green fingerlings (ages 4 and up) to cultivate their very own patches of paradise.

For around £10, your kid can grow his own vegetable, insect or butterfly garden (he’ll soon understand that we reap what we sew). Trugs, watering cans and trowels help him along the way. Other kits allow him to paint a gnome, build a bird table (complete with adorable bird cafe) or create a living swamp.
