Back-to-School Guide

Whether buying books or laying out that first-day look, preschool prep can test you.

But a quick review should make back to school a breeze.

A Is for Attire
Help her dress for success with new togs from local designer Eunice Carter’s Loblolly Lane (Wiggle, 305 East College Avenue, Decatur; 404-373-2522). For girls up to size 8, the handmade dresses and tops will prevent copycat catastrophes.

B Is for Bag

C Is for Chow

Circus Arts Therapy
What: Six-week experiential session for kids (ages 5-8) with attention difficulties, behavioral or emotional issues, or physical challenges that uses ground and aerial equipment.
Why: Help them soar.

City of Kennesaw’s BBQ Festival
What: Annual contest features pig and peach dishes and Kid Zone with inflatables and live entertainment.
Why: It’s a pig party.

Yellow River Game Ranch
What: Stroll 24 acres and discover people-friendly birds and animals, including deer, bunnies, buffalo, bears, and goats.
Why: Let your child run wild.
