Sitting Pretty

The Totseat

Restaurant high chairs? Ick. So gross.

But instead of eating with your child in your lap (along with her sippy cup, food, and your pride), try the brilliant Totseat. The ingenious soft cloth contraption has easy-to-use snaps and slips over almost any chair.

Kids get strapped in, which makes it similar to a baby carrier. The difference? This device attaches to most things with four legs and a back.

And because the clever invention fits easily inside a purse or diaper bag, dinner with the little ones doesn’t mean you’ll be wearing it.

Now that’s the, er, meal ticket.

Available at Wild Child, 397 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington (781-483-3566). To see styles, go to totseat.com.
