Wild Life

Summer Survival Gear

goin' on safari!

Your tykes are itching to explore the city streets. Get their summer off to a roaring start with appropriate gear.

The new On Safari line by Janie and Jack (300 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill; 617-527-0456) offers groovy expedition-worthy tops, shorts, and hats for intrepid girls and boys ages 3 months to 8 years.

They’ll want to spot some wild Anamalz (Tadpole, 37 Clarendon Street, South End; 617-778-1788). Made from organic maple wood and textiles, the zebras, hippos, and lions will keep fun-hunters amused.

Help little trailblazers put their best foot forward with Polliwalks. They pick their favorite animal and leave alligator, duck, ladybug, or frog footprints in the sand.

Because as any kid will tell you, it’s a jungle out there.
