Remember the good old days of being a club kid? Dressing up, flattering the doorman, staying out all night.
These days the only clubs you’re angling for require an escort under the age of 7.
The latest hot spot: Kangaroo Club. After jumping around various dance schools for the past six months, Talita Feuerstein has opened her own 600-square-foot studio for playgroups, Kindermusik classes (a movement and music program), and mom and infant groups (on the horizon).
Music classes get everyone grooving, and you’ll leave with take-home activities, so you can continue the fun all night long (or at least until around 7). Drop-in playgroups, for infants to 3-year-olds, give little joeys a chance to explore a crawl-through tunnel and caregivers a chance to socialize with someone their own age.
All in all, no worries. And no hangovers.
Kangaroo Club, 42 High Street, suite 4, Medford (781-405-8916 or mykangarooclub.com). Grand opening July 11.
