Sweet Child O’ Mine
Private Chocolate-Making Parties at Sarah’s Pastries & Candies

DNA, shmee-NA.
Your brood may have inherited their sweet tooth from you. But their quest to become Julia Childs clearly came from someone else, Betty McBurnsalot.
Indulge their culinary aspirations by enrolling them in the new private chocolate-making parties at Sarah’s Pastries & Candies. Tykes can feel like top chefs (and get their sugar fix) at the two-hour events hosted by cafe owner Sarah Levy.
Tots hand-dip Oreos and fruit, while older kids temper chocolate and write their names on cupcakes. When the party ends, everything they’ve made goes home to sate their big appetites.
Which definitely runs in the family.
Sarah’s Pastries & Candies, 70 East Oak Street, at Michigan Avenue (312-664-6223 or sarahscandies.com).
