Green Genes Boutique Opens

Go shorty, it’s Earth Day.
Take the party to Green Genes, Andersonville’s new organic-focused children’s boutique. Founded by former nanny and kids’ art therapist Heather Muenstermann and partner Christina Isperduli, the shop is a haven for the ecoconscious.
It’s stocked with everyday essentials like GDiapers (with flushable or compostable pads); Green to Grow’s BPA-free bottles; wood blocks and games from HaPe toys; and clothing in sizes newborn to ten, like Pura Vida’s bamboo jeans.
Peckish? Organic lollipops and soy nut bars are perfect for taking straight to da club.
Da clubhouse, that is.
Green Genes, 5111 North Clark Street, between Winona Street and Carmen Avenue, Andersonville (773-944-9250 or green-genes.com).
