“Sid the Science Kid”

Sid!

It was cute when Tommy asked why snow isn’t blue.

Until you realized he was serious and you were clueless.

Sounds like a job for professional curiosity satisfier Sid the Science Kid. Produced by The Jim Henson Company and KCET, PBS KIDS’s new animated series opens children’s eyes to the world’s everyday wonders, as Sid tackles questions big and small, always looking for the why and how.

Sid’s teacher!

Targeted for 3- to 6-year-olds, the show supports the development of thinking skills and social emotional learning by developing a child’s sense of wonder. The more kids are encouraged to explore, the more they’ll enjoy the learning that goes with it.

Sid’s friends!

The show premieres September 1 on PBS KIDS. In the meantime, get started on some exploration of your own at ShopPBS, where coupon code PBS222 nets you 20 percent off through September 30.

Why? Because you deserve it.
