Everyone’s watching the bottom line these days, especially moms who can’t afford diapers.
Luckily, there’s an organization you can get behind: Help a Mother Out. Started by two moms, the Bay Area-based campaign collects nappies and wipes for homeless and low-income mothers, and now has a permanent home in Los Angeles.
A stinky fact: Diapers are not covered by public assistance programs, which means needy babies can spend a day or more in soiled Pampers. You can help clean up the situation by dropping off goods in person to partnering agencies, donate virtually via Amazon’s wish list, or start your own diaper drive.
It couldn’t be easier to make a change.
