Going Bananas

Miami Community Fruit Gleaning

fruits of your labor!

One banana. Two banana. Three banana. Four thousand.

If you’ve lost count of the fruit mucking up your yard (and neighbors have stopped taking the bags you put under the free sign), there’s no need to brandish the ax.

Instead, join Miami Community Fruit Gleaning: a network that connects people with excess produce with those who need and want it.

If you’re drowning in mangoes, volunteers will harvest and distribute them. Or sign up to help clear out a yard full of someone else’s sweet Hadens.

Your little monkeys will love lending a hand (kids ages 2 and up are allowed to participate) and learn an important lesson about sharing.

And that’s got a lot of a-peel.

More information about the Miami Community Fruit Gleaning group is available
online.
