Grimaldi’s pizza. Prospect Park. More space for the kiddies. After birthing babies there’s just no way to avoid a conversation about Brooklyn.

If you’re not ready for the 718 just yet, ease into it with an original print by local artist Jim Datz.

Each of his limited-edition posters features playful illustrations of Brooklyn’s neighborhood highlights — from Bushwick to Brighton Beach, Cobble Hill to Red Hook — with a classic Coney Island hot dog stand thrown in for good measure.

Area names and landmarks are strung between two buildings on an imaginary clothesline that lends the scene a playful, urban vibe. So each time you look at it, you can slowly warm up to the idea of leaving the island.
