Admit it, you’ve had crazy thoughts about serving the kids prepackaged cookies for breakfast. (Whatever it takes to get everyone fed and out the door.)

Think again. Brooklyn’s new Little Buddy Biscuit Company’s got an array of brownies, muffins, scones, quick breads, and, yes, even cookies that are healthy enough for the most important meal of the day.

Owner/baker/dad Pete Solomita is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health, and he likes to get creative with ingredients (molasses with crystallized ginger, and cardamom with coconuts and macadamias are winners). He’s also got the whole nut-free, gluten-free, vegan angle down and offers sweets in Buddy Junior sizes especially with your tots in mind.
