Take a Shot
Dedicated E-mail: NY State Department of Health

You had the house baby proofed by your third trimester. Nothing but organic food touches your munchkin’s lips. And all it takes is a sneeze to get friends banished from the house.
When it comes to your little one, you’re like a mama bear with her cub.
So keep her safe from preventable childhood diseases by making sure she’s up to date on all her vaccinations. But do it quick: Infants are at a higher risk for serious complications from diseases like whooping cough and measles.
And, silly rabbit, they’re not just for kids. Ask your doctor about shots for babies, adults, and preteens and be sure to stick to the schedule.
Millions of American infants and children are safely vaccinated each year, but it’s up to you to protect your family.
It’s a big responsibility.
But you can totally bear it.
