the insider's guide to all things mini in your city
What to expect? The scoop on everything fun, fashionable,
and cool for under-6 crowd (and their parents).
You’ve worked your way from apples to yams, but the only produce your kids seem to love are citrus-flavored gummy bears.
Still. Every little bit helps.
Same for going green. Grass & Clovers really takes reduce, reuse, recycle to heart: Designer Sara Sandler-Greisberg makes the ’70s-inspired tops from vintage fabrics she found in trunks at her mom’s house.
Recalling the Holly Hobbie-meets-Earth Day aesthetic of her childhood, Sandler-Greisberg crafts hand-sewn appliques from scraps (butterflies, ice cream cones, flower pots) and trims the tees and tanks in one-of-a-kind crochet lace and eyelet. Ninety percent of the materials she uses are remnants from the quilting business Mom had back in the day.
So there’s no guilt in these adorable new clothes.
They’ll leave everyone green with envy.
