ZoomDance Classes

She brushes her teeth in first position, waits for carpool in second, and sleeps in third. That’s a dedicated little dancer.

But even the most hard-core bun head needs to let loose sometimes.

If ballet classes have your teeny twirler all wound up, introduce her to ZoomDance.

Created by professional dancer Sarah Gladwin Camp, this new series of classes focuses on movement and storytelling. Each week Camp reads a different book, then kids let their imaginations run wild, acting out the characters and making up motions.

There are also sessions for wee ones as young as 18 months. After all, it’s never too soon to get them started.

Now that’s what we call raising the barre.

Classes start January 14 and will be held at Capitolo, 900 Federal Street, and The Parlor, 1170 South Broad Street. For more information, go to zoomdance.com.
